After Earth – Movie Review

Unfortunately, M. Night Shyamalan’s name has become a joke. Does After Earth make things any better? Hit the jump to watch my full review…

Official Synopsis: A crash landing leaves Kitai Raige and his father Cypher stranded on Earth, a millennium after events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help.

Review Summary: While not the complete disaster that The Last Airbender was, After Earth unfortunately still finds M. Night Shyamalan plodding through another dull, lifeless movie. What has happened to this once great filmmaker? The CGI is almost as unconvincing as young Jaden Smith, who I’d prefer his father stop shoving down our throats.
