The much anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games is here! Does it improve upon the original? Hit the jump to watch my full review…

Official Synopsis: Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games sparks a rebellion in the Districts of Panem.

Review Summary: Having enjoyed the first film, while still wanting more, I was pleasantly surprised with this rip-roaring sequel. Catching Fire improves every issue I had with the first film, with likable, endearing characters, a steady hand behind the camera, and a moving performance from Jennifer Lawrence. This is what a sequel should be like!
