The Legend of Hercules – Movie Review
Director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2) attempts to bring the Greek myth of Hercules to life this January! Need I remind you… it’s January. Hit the jump to check out my review…
Official Synopsis: The origin story of the the mythical Greek hero. Betrayed by his stepfather, the King, and exiled and sold into slavery because of a forbidden love, Hercules must use his formidable powers to fight his way back to his rightful kingdom.
Review Summary: In what is sure to be on my “worst films list” later this year, Kellan Lutz hams his way through an inexcusably bad movie, muttering dialogue written for a grade school play. The Legend of Hercules is a disaster in every way imaginable. The shoddy CGI, laughable acting, cringe-inducing romance, and worst of all, fast-slo-mo action. An obvious and blatant rip-off of 300 and Gladiator – much better movies – this film should be removed from theaters as soon as possible to avoid damaging the brains of people who have the misfortune of seeing it.
