The Lone Ranger – Movie Review

THE LONE RANGER

How is Johnny Depp’s fourth collaboration with Gore Verbinksi? Hit the jump to watch my full review…

Official Synopsis: Native American warrior Tonto recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid, a man of the law, into a legend of justice.

Review Summary: Gigantic studio misfires don’t get bigger than this. Johnny Depp’s love of white face paint will hopefully end with The Lone Ranger, a movie that while visually impressive, is completely overblown and bloated. Armie Hammer is lifeless and cheesy as the title character, who feels overshadowed by Depp as the Native American sidekick, Tonto. A horrifically boring movie that feels like a long lost sequel to Wild Wild West (1999), another big-budget western disaster.
