Wonder Woman – Movie Review

Official Synopsis:

Before she was Wonder Woman she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained warrior. When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, she leaves home to fight a war to end all wars, discovering her full powers and true destiny.

Review Summary:

Wonder Woman is the first movie in the DCEU lineup to bring hope to the franchise. Gadot’s portrayal of Wonder Woman is full of joy and completely without angst or cynicism. It’s a breath of fresh air and a total blast from start to finish. Patty Jenkins helms the action scenes skillfully, while sometimes relying on CGI too much.

Chris Pine and Gadot have wonderful chemistry and work well together on screen. His character is not simply a foil for Diana, but a welcome teammate. While the villain characters were weak (just like most superhero films lately), Wonder Woman is so much fun that it didn’t matter too much.
